This year's topic | Co-operation, collaboration and integration: the role of LSP instructors in higher education
The event will take place on 19-22 May 2026 and will bring together around 30 participants from across Europe for four days of exchange, reflection, and hands-on collaboration.
This Teacher Training Week will provide a forum for exploring innovative forms of collaboration between language instructors and content specialists, with the aim of enhancing student learning. Key areas of focus include:
- Co-operation between language instructors and content specialists
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and program integration
- Research-driven pedagogical strategies to support diverse learners

We are seeking contributions
Communications
Two contributors are invited to give a 45-minute talk (plus Q&A) presenting innovative practices, challenges, or insights on effective cooperation and collaboration between LSP instructors and content specialists.
Workshops
We are also looking for four contributors to lead 90-minute workshops (30-minute presentation + 1-hour application/discussion/feedback) in which participants design cooperative teaching modules, share methods, and create practical exercises for interdisciplinary courses.
Abstracts must be submitted by February 9, 2026, to natassia.schutz@unamur.be
- Communications (500 words) should provide a clear and concise overview of your topic
- Workshops (300 words) should outline the format, objectives, and materials required
Registration and participation fees
The participation fees include the training sessions, accommodation and breakfast (19-21 May), coffee breaks, lunches, the gala dinner and cultural activities.
- CercleS members: €500
- CercleS members without accommodation: €300
- Non-members: €650
- Non-members without accommodation: €450
Priority is given to CercleS members (including RANACLES). Non-member participation is subject to approval by the CercleS Executive Committee.
