Are you wondering about your career path? Do you have a tendency to drop out of school? Are you thinking of giving up? There are several solutions available to you: individualized support, the MAP scheme (Mise Au Point - Pôle académique de Namur) in the first semester, ReBOND training. If you'd like some support, don't hesitate to contact the University of Namur's reorientation advisor!
ReBOND sessions
First session
From February to June, the ReBOND training team offers you an individualized 1st training and reorientation program. The February session allows you to make the most of the second semester to:
- build new study and/or professional projects tailored to your expectations and needs
- validate these projects by actively exploring the reality of study and the professional world (internships, interviews, taking courses...)
- consolidate the cross-disciplinary skills needed to be a student
- continue to practice content and requirements specific to higher education
Concretely, the February session consists of courses (around 20h/week) in the following areas:
- project construction and validation
- mastery of the French language
- student work methodology
- elements of law
- online courses chosen according to your interests
In addition, this program allows you to conduct interviews with professionals, visits to professional environments, career discovery days and courses in the orientations you're considering. Throughout your training, you'll also benefit from individualized support from a training advisor.
Second session
A second session of ReBOND training is organized from April to June.
The April session offers you the chance to use the end of the academic year to:
- construct new study and/or professional projects tailored to their expectations and needs
- validate these projects by getting them to actively explore the reality of study and the professional world
- consolidate the cross-disciplinary skills needed to be a student
In concrete terms, the April session consists of courses (around 15h/week, Monday to Friday) in the following areas:
- project construction and validation
- mastery of the French language
- student work methodology
In addition, like the February session, the April session gives you the opportunity to conduct interviews with professionals, visits to professional environments, observation internships and courses in the orientations you're considering. Throughout the course, you'll also benefit from individualized support from a training advisor.
