Teaching in higher education

Are you a (future) teacher trainer in higher education and want to acquire the right teaching qualification? The Master of specialization in teacher training and the CAPAES are for you!

In order to teach in a Haute école or in a Social Promotion higher education establishment, it is not compulsory to have the appropriate teaching qualification for higher education when you are recruited. However, if you wish to be permanently appointed or nominated as a teacher, you will need to have this qualification. If you teach in a Haute école, you must obtain this teaching qualification within 6 years of your first appointment as a teacher.

Master de spécialisation en pédagogie universitaire (MSPU)

Un master de spécialisation destiné aux enseignants du supérieur qui exercent soit dans l'enseignement universitaire (assistants et professeurs), soit dans l'enseignement supérieur hors universités (Hautes écoles). Il vise la réalisation d’une recherche appliquée, sur le terrain professionnel des étudiants du programme.
