Notre-Dame de la Paix Chair 2025-2026 | "University and society. What can knowledge do for the common good?"
After focusing on the issue of "Commons" (2022-2023), the management of "common goods" (2023-2024), and "health as a common good " (2024-2025), this year the Chair focuses on the issue of "knowledge" as a "common good" and the role that the University is called upon to play in the creation and transmission of knowledge. As its title—“University and Society: What Can Knowledge Do for the Common Good?”—shows, the value and meaning that society attaches to knowledge, even more so from a universal perspective, cannot be taken for granted. Inaugural lecture on February 19, 2026.
