UNamur has been involved in development cooperation for many years. Most of these activities, however, fall within one of the programs of the Commission for Development Cooperation (ARES-CCD) and within the vision of the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid (DGD).

Namur University Fund

The Fonds Namur Université raises funds to provide additional resources for research and teaching projects at the University of Namur. Since 2013, patrons, sponsors, alumni and donors have enabled the University of Namur to bring many projects to life.

The Baillet Latour Fund

The mission of the Fonds Baillet Latour is to encourage, promote and stimulate human excellence in Belgium, with a rigorous approach that is open to the evolution of society. Over the years, the Fund has extended the scope of its activities in four areas: health, culture, education and sport, through the allocation of funds, prizes and scholarships. In their respective fields, the projects and initiatives supported all have a Belgian dimension and an international vocation.
