We study the atmospheric pressure chemical vapor deposition (CVD) synthesis and characterization of low-dimensional materials, ranging from carbonaceous materials such as nanotubes or graphene to other 2D materials such as boron nitride (hBN) or transition metal dichalcogenides (MoS2, WSe2, etc...).

Thesis topics (Pr. Jean-François Colomer)

  • Synthesis and characterization of two-dimensional metal dichalcogenide materials by CVD (Chemical vapor deposition) for gas sensing applications.
  • Synthesis and characterization of hybrid structures based on Boron Nitride and graphene by CVD (Chemical vapor deposition).
