Doelstellingen

Bringing students to B2+ level Bringing Group 2 students to B2+/C1 level The course aims to enable students to communicate spontaneously and fluently with a native speaker in familiar situations. More advanced students will be able to use the language flexibly and effectively in social and professional relationships and to express their opinions accurately by relating their statements coherently to those of their interlocutors. Depending on the distribution of German 1 and 2, a distinction will be made between the students of the course. All students will be encouraged to progress to B2+ and C1 respectively, according to their level at the beginning of the year. Transfer from one course to another is possible each year subject to the acceptance of the teachers after examination of the student's file and progress. Students' applications are examined individually by the teachers and the course coordinator of the German programme.

The students will present press articles of their choice and work on the basis of a portfolio of their tasks throughout the year. The teacher summarises for half an hour at the end of the lesson the main errors in the students' oral and written productions.

Evaluatiemethode

Classes will be held for one hour per week in a hybrid face-to-face and/or Teams system. Some class sessions will be devoted to personal work and will be replaced by personal follow-up sessions for students via Teams. Continuous assessment is organised during the academic year according to practical arrangements to be specified at the beginning of the year in the respective courses. The respect of deadlines for the submission of personal work is imperative for the validation of tasks. Important: Particular attention will be paid to the distribution between the hours of classroom and/or Teams classes and the credits allocated to the German course for personal work.
