The Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) or hybrid intensive program is an educational innovation within the Erasmus+ program. It is a short, hybrid mobility defined as "a short physical presence abroad of between 5 days min and 30 days max, supplemented by some volume of virtual learning before or after the physical mobility".

Organization

The Faculty offers a BIP-Customer Relationship Management (ELMSM419, 6 credits) for students en Master (management sciences or management engineering, in Advanced Marketing). This one is organized between three Universities: LIUC Universita Cattaneo (Italy), Häme University of Applied Science (Finland) and the University of Namur.

The BIP is organized in the 2nd semester in a distance format during the first sessions and face-to-face during an intensive week of classes at one of the partner Universities (in 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 at Università Carlo Cattaneao) during the month of May.

The student taking part in the BIP-Customer Relationship Management will be supported by European funding.

Testimonials from students and the Professor

A unique experience on a professional, human and cultural level. I learned to work with international students, to communicate in English, to appreciate our cultural differences and to get out of my comfort zone. What's more, living this experience in Italy, accompanied by the local weather, gastronomy and architecture... How lucky we were to have had this experience!

Noé RUIDANT Student

The BIP experience has been a real adventure that has given me an enormous amount both personally and professionally. I would mention the intercultural aspect which, both in teaching and in managing group projects, was very captivating and enriching. In addition to the personal and professional encounters, the various exchanges enabled me to improve both my independence and my English. Finally, the activities on offer enabled me to discover Europe and companies from different angles, even better in a CRM course!

Maxime CORBISIER-BALAND Student

In the space of a few days, this program provides an experience as intensive as it is enriching. It allows us to travel, meet incredible people, discover new cultures, visit companies all while taking an extremely interesting course. Memorable memories guaranteed!

From my own experience, I found it exceptional. Pedagogically, it was very powerful because the students were confronted with several academics discussing the same subject with them, but with different and culturally rooted perspectives, methods, approaches. The students loved it. The human experience was just incredible. The students worked together on the projects (we mixed nationalities), worked on listening to other cultures, ways of collaborating. Some of them are still in touch today. Personally, I found it great to be immersed in a modern, multicultural working environment. It takes time, but it's worth it. We also visited companies together, some commercial, others social. LIUC also organized more social activities for us, which brought the group together. In conclusion: a very positive evaluation!
