The discovery of exoplanets has opened up a new field of research in astronomy. To date, thousands of extrasolar planets have been detected, including at least 500 multiplanetary systems with a wide range of parameters. These detections have raised new questions about the formation, evolution and habitability of planetary systems.
Anne-Sophie Libert's EXTRA research team addresses these celestial mechanics issues, focusing on the dynamical aspects that play a crucial role in determining the architecture of systems.
