Do you want to enhance your knowledge by taking certain courses without actually enrolling in a training program? Are you an A-level candidate? Whether you are regularly enrolled (or not) at the University of Namur, you can register for some of our courses.
Isolated courses

Library instructor
This status allows you to participate in courses without having to submit assessments. Your program will consist of a maximum of 20 credits, per academic year.
Free student
This status allows you to participate in courses and submit evaluations. Your program will consist of a maximum of 15 credits, per academic year.
Practical work, tutorials, language courses or professional activities (dissertation, internship, seminar) cannot be taken in this framework.
When to apply for registration?
- Courses in 1st trimester: no later than October 15
- Courses in 2nd trimester: no later than February 15
Admission requirements
Regularly registered persons
You must meet three conditions:
- You must be financial for the current academic year,
- You must have acquired the first 60 credits of your bachelor's program (if you are a bachelor's student),
- You must have the credential required to participate in the academic unit of your choice (for example, if you are applying to enroll in a bachelor's course, you must hold a high school diploma).
External persons
If you are enrolling as an auditor, you must have the access qualification required to participate in the teaching unit of your choice (for example, if you are applying for enrolment in a master's course, you must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent).
Candidates for accession to level A (Selor)
You register as a free student and may exceptionally benefit from a program of up to 20 credits per academic year, on presentation of the certificate of successful completion of the generic screening (to be attached to the application form) and with no other access conditions.
