Biographie

As an FRS-FNRS Research Associate at the University of Mons, Belgium, I investigate the physical origins of visual effects occurring in natural organisms. I co-authored a book entitled "Natural Photonics and Bioinspiration" with Prof. Olivier Deparis.

I give the "Natural photonics and biomimicry" lecture as a Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Namur, Belgium in the Master's degree programmes. In addition, I am an Associate of the University of Exeter, UK.

Beside my interest in scientific research, I also enjoy teaching and outreaching activities.
