Biographie
I am a 3rd-year PhD student in Main Group Organometallic and Pnictogen Chemistry at the University, working with Prof. Guillaume Berionni. I am from Kolkata, India, and I work at the frontier of Organometallic synthesis and reactivity study. Playing with Phosphorus at the lab all the time. You can find me in the NMR room at any time. I love to travel and play football. Taking random pictures all the time :)

PhD project - My PhD project focuses on the exploration of new paradigms and reactivity of Cage-shaped phosphatriptycene molecules. We modulate the reactivity of the Phosphorus atom by playing with the substrates present in the phenyl rings orthogonal to the phosphorus atom. We have tested Iminophosphoranes and Fluorophosphonium cations derived from phosphatriptycene in various useful organic transformations. Currently, I am working on new fluorination reactions and the development of new FLP systems for chiral hydrogenation reactions and new methodology development in Gold catalysis.
