Topics can be chosen or proposed within the following domains (further details are available in the relevant document in the associated WebCampus site): (1) The creative interplay between image and text; (2) Investigating the language of fiction; (3) Corpus-based explorations of special types of copular clauses

Assessment method

The term paper is evaluated in its pre-final and its final versions. Evaluation criteria include the following: - a 'problem-solving' capacity - a constructively critical attitude towards existing literature on your topic - logical structure and clarity of exposition - correct use of metalanguage and correct referencing practices - streamlining (avoiding unnecessary or irrelevant detours) - proficiency
