Access to IT resources and tools

The student eID

On receipt of your admission to the University of Namur, you will receive an email with your student number and information concerning your electronic identifier (eID), protected by a password, enabling you to access IT resources such as email, access to the University's wifi network, and internal tools such as WebCampus (the teaching platform) or the virtual student office (BVE). Your eID remains valid for the duration of your studies.

WebCampus: the teaching platform

The WebCampus platform allows you to consult your personal timetable, as well as the course materials and messages that teachers and secretariats will make available to you throughout your year of study.

You can also consult the class schedules (updates possible) as well as the campus map.

The Virtual Student Office (BVE)

The BVE enables registered students to consult and manage administrative information: acknowledge receipt of regulations, obtain attestations, change their password, configure their EAP, re-register or consult their exam grades. A shortcut to WebCampus also lets you view the latest published announcements or consult the agenda.

Student card

The student card is a personal card that remains active throughout the student's time at the University of Namur. It is indispensable for taking part in all teaching activities (courses, practical work, examinations, etc.), for obtaining any document or administrative information, and for accessing the libraries.

Insurance

Every student regularly enrolled at UNamur is automatically covered by third-party liability insurance (RC) and "accidents corporeal" insurance which he or she may fall victim to during academic, extra-academic activities, trips, internships, courses and stays abroad (e.a. Erasmus...), as well as on the way to and from these activities, as long as these take place with the agreement of the University. Insurance coverage is provided in addition to the mutual insurance plan. Find out more

Code of good conduct and regulations

The Regulations governing studies and assessments contain all the regulatory provisions relating in particular to studies and assessments that are applicable to students at this faculty. The code of good conduct is specified by the ethical principles relating to the use of IT tools at UNamur, the UNamur library regulations, and the guidelines relating to integrity in scientific research.
