Why choose Namur?
The reasons why students choose the University of Namur. In a survey carried out among 1st year students, a few assets are more particularly highlighted: demanding courses, but matched by high-quality teaching support and highly available professors; the location of the university campus in the heart of a pleasant, easily accessible town; the friendly atmosphere of a human-sized university offering a wide range of courses in all sectors. The reputation of the University of Namur has always been based on its support for students. The aim is to gradually lead you, according to your abilities, er your initial knowledge, to mastery of university skills and the acquisition of total autonomy in managing your work. Each faculty puts in place the most appropriate means to maximize your chances of success: refresher programs before the start of the year (preparatory courses); review interviews after the first exams; sessions focused on acquiring new study strategies. All these activities are carried out by professors, assistants and university pedagogy professionals. From entry to the University through to dissertation supervision, in Namur, the involvement and availability of teachers is permanent.
