If you're within a 10 km radius of the center of Namur, cycling can be a friendly, efficient and economical means of transport for you. Especially if you're close to the banks of the Sambre and Meuse rivers, which are equipped with cycle towpaths. It's also easy to avoid car-clogged avenues and take quieter side streets. Bicycles can be parked almost anywhere on campus.

Bicycle routes to campus
From Namur and surroundings
If you can reach the banks of the Sambre or Meuse rivers, you'll easily get to UNamur, since these are located along the Sambre. From the Meuse, all you have to do is reach the confluence. A cycling map of Namur exists and is available from the Maison des Cyclistes or online. Consult the Cycling map of Namur.
From the RAVeL
Namur is ideally located at the crossroads of two sections of the RAVeL, which combines towpaths and former railroads transformed into cycle paths and offers some safe routes to reach Namur from Dinant, Floreffe, Andenne or Eghezée.
- The international Eurovélo 3 line connects with Charleroi and Mons to the west or Huy and Liège to the east;
- The intrenational Eurovélo 5 line connects with Dinant to the south and Wavre to the north;
- Line 142 connects with Eghezée and Jodoigne to the north.
