At a time when everything has to appear smooth and unblemished, when uncomfortable subjects are banished from our daily conversations so as not to offend anyone, we feel it's important to take a few risks and start tackling the truth around us again. In an offbeat way, or with a real head-on clash. All the while taking people's opinions into account.
Christelle Delbrouck, Godmother of Dignity Week, combines humor, sensitivity and commitment, ideal qualities for embodying and promoting a message as essential as that of human dignity. As a committed artist, she uses humor and theater to tackle social issues with depth and kindness. Her work often highlights issues of social justice, respect and equality.
