Health insurance

For EU students: the European Health Insurance Card is sufficient. Don't forget to ask for it from the health organization in your country that issues it.

For extra-EU students: private insurance is compulsory. If you do not have personal or family insurance, you can join the AON insurance scheme. For more information, please visit their website.

Third-party and accident liability

Any student regularly enrolled at UNamur, including exchange students, is automatically covered by:

  • civil liability (RC) insurance,
  • "bodily injury" insurance of which he or she may be a victim

and this during:

  • the exercise of his or her academic, extra-academic, travel, internship, course and other activities abroad, as well as on the way to and from his or her activities,
  • provided these take place with the University's agreement.

Insurance cover is provided in addition to mutual insurance.

For more information, please consult the pages of the Service de la Vie Etudiante (VéCU).
