During this round table discussion proposed during the Printemps des Sciences and moderated by Aline Wilmet, mediator at Confluent des Savoirs, we'll be talking with Laurent Houssiau, physicist and climatologist at UNamur and Maxime Thomas, environmental bioengineer and researcher at UCLouvain. Together, we'll discuss the general phenomenon of global warming and the role of water in it. We'll see how the thawing of permafrost is impacting the whole world and contributing to global warming. We'll talk about the Alaskan expeditions Maxime has taken part in and the phenomena observed first-hand and the speed with which climate change is observable in this part of the world.
