Mozart's music seems to flow from the source , or to sparkle like champagne , so obvious, pleasant and natural is it .
The diversity of melodies seems limitless , the "Divine Mozart" had such an imagination...
And yet, when we strain an attentive and discerning ear, we notice that all the first movements of all Mozart's sonatas, concertos, symphonies, quartets, etc. are built exactly and rigorously on the same pattern.
But what is this common, inescapable framework to which Mozart submits with equal talent and humility, and which he plays with with all the genius we know about him?
And which can be found, incredibly identical, in the Little Night Music or the 40th Symphony, for example?
This is what Charlotte Messiaen invites us to discover, in words and in music!"
