CDS
Le Confluent des Savoirs supports researchers and students at the University of Namur in sharing their work with the general public, making research more accessible, engaging, and captivating.
How do we support projects?
We offer personalized support to university members who wish to make a scientific topic accessible to a wider audience. This means:
- Listening to ideas and helping to structure them;
- Advising on how to communicate clearly and effectively;
- Supporting projects from start to finish, from the initial idea to its final realization.
A variety of creative projects
Thanks to this support, many projects have been launched, such as:
- Exhibitions that make science visible and tangible;
- Science cafés to discuss research in a friendly setting;
- Popular science videos that explain a concept in just a few minutes;
- Lectures open to everyone on current scientific topics.
Why is this important?
Because science is part of our daily lives. By making it more accessible and relatable, we strengthen the connection between the university and society, and we give everyone the tools to better understand the world around them.
