As part of its mission to support research, Confluent des Savoirs offers interdisciplinary training courses for doctoral students, researchers, and master’s students at the University of Namur.

Bringing science closer to everyone

Research shouldn’t be confined to laboratories or specialized journals. It deserves to be shared, explained, and communicated… to everyone.

That is why we organize training sessions on science communication. These sessions are spaces for discussion, reflection, and hands-on practice, where participants learn to talk about research in a different way.

Why these training courses?

Because knowledge isn’t just about understanding—it’s also about being able to share it.

We support researchers, students, and doctoral candidates who wish to share their knowledge with diverse audiences: young people, adults, curious minds, and citizens.

What we actually do

  • We help translate complex ideas into clear messages;
  • We explore creative ways to communicate research (posters, videos, events, conferences, exhibitions, etc.);
  • We encourage a human-centered and accessible approach to research.

These training programs provide a better understanding of the challenges facing science communication today and help build bridges between the academic world and society.
