Connecting to the platform

How do I log in?

You're waiting to receive an e-mail from the TICE cell with a link to the account we've created for you.
IN NO CASE DO YOU CREATE AN ACCOUNT YOURSELF!

You haven't received an e-mail?
It must reach you no later than the Tuesday before the first Saturday of classes or, if you registered after the information session, within 4 working days of your registration. If you don't receive this email, check your junk mail box and make sure your mailbox isn't overloaded!

My login and password are correct, but I still can't log in...

The UNamur - Formations platform works with an LMS (Learning Management System), called MOODLE, which is sometimes temperamental with certain browsers (as a reminder, a browser is the tool used to go on the Internet, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer...).

If you're sure your login and password are correct, but you still can't connect to UNamur - Formations (error message), here are the various things you need to do:

On computer

Clear your browser's cache and try again.
If it doesn't work, try on another browser (the two best are Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome)

On tablet

Empty your browser's cache and try again.
If it doesn't work, restart the tablet.

To empty the cache on ...... (click on the corresponding browser)

On the platform login page in the green section on the right, click on "Lost password?"

Platform access

I have access to the platform, but I don't have any courses...

  • Either you've created an account yourself with an address different from the one with which you registered for the preparatory courses
  • Or you're a UNamur student and you're trying to log in with your "@student.unamur.be" address. @student.unamur.be".

Log in with the address you used to register for the preparatory courses or use the login "Exmed_000000" (000000 being your registration number for the preparatory courses).

One of my courses has disappeared

On UNamur - Formations, a course has two modes: a visible mode and a hidden mode.

When a teacher is working on their course, it's sometimes best to put it in hidden mode so that you can work on it without students being able to see the changes directly. This prevents you from seeing unfinished content or answering a quiz before it's finished, for example. When a course is "hidden", it no longer appears, either in your dashboard or in your left-hand column. This does not mean, however, that you are no longer registered for the course. All you have to do is wait for the teacher to finish his or her work.

If a course doesn't appear in your list when you're supposed to submit an assignment or access a resource, the teacher may have forgotten or handled it incorrectly. In this case, contact the teacher, and in case of emergency, you can always contact us at tice@unamur.be or 081/72 50 75.

Problems with the platform?

I can't see the link to follow the live courses

The link is on the relevant course. Are you on the right course? Check the calendar in the right-hand column.

The link is in the "Live" section. Click on the ">" arrow to the left of "Live" to bring up the link.

The link only appears 5 minutes before the start of the course. You may be early.

I don't see the recorded course video

The course video appears +/- an hour after the end of the course.

All course recordings can be found in the "Recorded courses" section.

Click on the ">" arrow in front of "Recorded courses" to see the links to the videos.

How long do I have access to the platform?

Your access is valid until the day of the competition, if you wish to do the courses the following year you must re-register.

How long can I watch the course videos?

Until the day of the competition.

Where can I find the course calendar?

  • Either on the site
  • Or in the calendar in the right-hand column (if you don't see it go to the question "How do I create my calendar on the platform? "

How do I create my calendar on the platform?

  1. Click on the arrow ""<" in the top right-hand corner to bring up the right-hand column
  2. Click on "Add a block"
  3. Choose "Calendar"

Face-to-face and distance learning courses

Can I attend face-to-face classes if I am registered as a distance learner?

No, but you can make a request by sending an email to "cours-preparatoires@unamur.be" to find out if you can still be registered as a face-to-face learner (only if places are still available).

Can I attend Live distance courses if I am registered as a face-to-face learner?

YES, you have access to all content available on the platform including Live and recorded courses.
