Continuing education for legal professionals As well as teaching and research, the University has a mission to serve society. As part of this, the Faculty of Law offers a range of continuing education activities for legal professionals.The Association des Juristes Namurois (AJN), a non-profit association initiated and supported by the Faculty and bringing together the driving forces behind the various legal circles in the Namur region, frequently organizes conferences on a variety of topical themes.In addition, the Centre de recherche Information, Droit et Société (CRIDS) within the Faculty offers a lecture series "@crids" covering all aspects of information and communication technology law from a resolutely practical angle, as well as several continuing education courses in fields related to ICT law: InfoSafe and DataSafe.The faculty also offers training in forensics and urban security management, culminating in an inter-university certificate.It is also involved in development cooperation. The mutual attachment is very real during and after studies, and contacts remain numerous in what could be described as "the Namur spirit". Research at the Faculty is part of 11 major research themes: from development economics to digital, via innovation, marketing and didactics, discover the research themes developed within the Faculty of Economic, Social and Management Sciences.

External funding for research projects at the University of Namur accounts for almost two-thirds of total funding for Namur research projects. The ADRE team provides researchers with useful tools (regulations, documents, memos and brochures). Its Financing team supports researchers in the development of a project (project set-up, administrative support, search for funding) or a public procurement bid.Its team of Scientific Advisors also supports researchers in valorizing their research results (technology transfer, intellectual property protection) and thus promoting their skills. Legal support and a Business Developer to guide you in your spin-off, start-up or licensing projects. A doctoral unit is available to coordinate the implementation of a cross-disciplinary training offer and answer your questions about the doctoral pathway.

The ADRE team is at the service of researchers and companies.

Financing and partnerships, technology transfer, research potential and skills offerings. Companies, administrations and organizations wishing to obtain information or consider collaborations with the university are invited to contact the Research Administration.

Cross-disciplinary training courses and awareness-raising activities are organized throughout the academic year.
