New acquisitions
The Library's collections are expanding with new releases in all fields. Each month, discover the latest additions, classified by discipline and available for borrowing at the BUMP.
Online catalog
The online catalog allows you to search for any type of document (except articles) and check availability at the University of Namur.
Digitized files
Books not yet encoded in the online catalog can be accessed via digitized paper records. These are the catalogs:
- of the BUMP monographs (closed in 1985);
- of the CDRR fonds monographs (closed in 2001);
- of the CDRR fonds periodicals and collections.
Precious collections and university heritage
The two precious reserves of the Moretus Plantin University Library preserve around 100,000 works and remarkable items dating from the late Middle Ages to the present day: manuscripts and autographs, incunabula, printed books, maps and plans, institutional archives, old newspapers, posters and prints, seals, photographic plates, postcards...
NEPTUN - The digital portal
NEPTUN is a portal providing free access to several thousand documents held at the BUMP, digitized in high resolution. The Heritage Department is gradually digitizing exceptional documents. Explore this documentary heritage online, find our virtual exhibitions, listen to our podcasts and sound capsules!
Open access
Open access is a movement aimed at making scientific production accessible. Since 2018, a decree promulgated in the Fédération Wallonie Bruxelles, moreover, obliges researchers to deposit a version of their article in their institution's repository.
