Content

This course aims to discover the functioning of our immune system.

The immune system is… a system! We will start by detailing the different actors of this system (cells and organs) and the basic principles of its operation. The course includes the study of innate and adaptive immunity. Emphasis is placed on the spatio-temporal dynamics of the immune system and the many interactions that ensure its control. The course of immunology goes beyond the framework of the anti-infectious defense and makes it possible to grasp the intimate mechanism of many biological phenomena: allergy, anti-tumor response, autoimmune reaction or transplant rejection.

Assessment method

Written exam on the subject covered in the theoretical courses and given during the practical work.
