Admission procedure for exchange students
Step 1
After your nomination, the SRI will contact you by email and send you a link to the "Mobility Online" platform used by UNamur to manage your mobility path. You must complete the identification form and follow the various steps of the procedure.
As mentioned, only students who have been officially nominated by their home university can complete this form.
Step 2
After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email that will allow you to generate your login and password. You will be able to create a personal account in the platform. Once logged in, you'll have access to all features. You will need to complete a second form with your personal information.
Please keep your access codes safe, as you'll need them throughout the procedure, in particular to submit your documents and upload your admission letter.
Step 3
You must submit all the required documents to the platform:
- A letter of motivation,
- A copy of an ID document (passport or ID card),
- A passport-sized photo,
- Transcripts of your university studies,
- The admission form ("application form") completed and signed.
You will also need to indicate your course selection. This will form the basis of your Learning Agreement. It must be validated by the mobility coordinator at your home institution and by the mobility coordinator at UNamur.
Proof of your mastery of French and, where applicable, of English (official certificate) is not compulsory. However it is strongly recommended that before your arrival in Namur, you have reached a minimum level B1/B2 which will enable you to follow the courses profitably.
Step 4
As soon as your file is complete, the SRI will contact you and give you further information on the next steps.
If you have followed the procedure in accordance with the deadlines, you will be able to receive admission certificates within 2 weeks of finalizing your file. Respecting deadlines is particularly important for non-European applicants who need a visa to stay in Belgium.
