In one way or another, we are all connected. These intelligent devices accompany our lives and improve them in many ways, whether in health, education, transport or many other areas. The self-driving car, the smart electric meter, the continuous improvement of image analysis techniques based on magnetic resonance, and so many other applications are all ambitious and hopeful projects.
But our ambition requires the presence of IT specialists. Not only will they need to be highly qualified and have excellent technical skills, but they will also need to possess that entrepreneurial spirit and mindset that is both open and critical in the face of our society's digital evolution. In our Faculty of Computer Science, which has been in existence for almost fifty years, we offer our students this kind of training.
