- To observe, understand and analyse the practices of economics teachers and teacher-pupil relationships in secondary schools. - To be confronted with the teaching profession in a quasi-real situation and to compare theoretical knowledge with the reality in the field: • designing teaching devices, testing them in the classroom, evaluating and regulating them; • planning, managing and evaluating teaching-learning situations • participating in school activities outside the classroom - Reflecting on one's practice.
Participatory observation periods, active teaching periods and out-of-school activities periods are an integral part of student training. As the decree of 8 February 2001 indicates, they gradually place students in a situation of teaching responsibility.
The student must complete 3 placements. Each placement must include at least 4 hours of observation, 8 to 12 hours of teaching and 2 to 4 hours of school activities outside the classroom. One of the three placements must be in transitional education (general or technical) and the other two in qualifying education (technical or vocational). The 10 hours of analysis of practices allow to present the expectations of the course and to make a return and an analysis of the experiences of the 2nd courses.
The first placement is subject to a formative evaluation (in-depth feedback from the placement master and an academic placement supervisor). The other two placements are subject to a certificate evaluation. The final score is based on several elements: - the assessment of the academic supervisor in lesson observation - evaluation of the training supervisor - the student's placement report
