The student will have worked the equivalent of 10 working days at the ROC. During this period, the student will have participated in various tasks at the ROC, contributing to the management of the sheep flock, other animals and the infrastructure. He/she will have learnt about the management of a professional farm.
Understanding the operating principles of a structure linked to sheep production and/or breeding.
Internship at the ROC, for 10 days.
This is not an observational internship. It is important that the student be actively involved in the daily activities of the organisation.
Internship. Writing an analysis report.
The EU internship is assessed once the internship has been completed and the report submitted. Students may only register for the assessment during one period (June or August). There is no second session.
Only one assessment is organised per internship. It is based on the following three points:
1) Completion of the internship
The assessment is continuous, day by day, and takes the following aspects into account:
-compliance with the commitment: attending on the agreed days
-compliance with schedules (punctuality)
-appropriate dress code
-interpersonal skills, integration into a team, collaboration
-proactivity: interest, anticipation, eagerness to learn, commitment, availability
-ability to understand requests, quality of work performed
2) Writing an analysis report (template on Webcampus)
3) Oral assessment based on the analysis report
An internship that is only partially completed at the end of the academic year or for which no report has been submitted will be graded 0/20.
Students are encouraged to supplement their knowledge by consulting the relevant bibliography (scientific literature, reference books, food labels, summaries of product characteristics, etc.)
