- Integration into a work environment, identification of project issues and development of partnerships.
- Problematization and initial development of a theoretical and methodological framework.
This first step should enable you to meet the following objectives:
- Integrate into your working environment.
- Precisely define the context, issues and scope of the project: in what context (sector, organization, etc.) is it taking place? What is the background? What is the key question?
- Define the analytical framework on which the study of the problem and the practical proposals will be based: what are the key concepts and how should they be defined? What theoretical frameworks can be usefully mobilized in this project?
The observation internship takes place in the first four months (Q1), at the rate of two days per week (to be defined according to the thematic options chosen), for a minimum of 26 days in total. The immersant begins his or her assignment within the company/organization as defined in the internship agreement.
Evaluation of this first internship is carried out by the academic supervisor (dissertation director) on the basis of an initial written report of around twenty pages. This document will cover: the definition of the project (context, project background and key question) and the analytical framework (definitions and literature review).
Unless otherwise specified by the academic supervisor, the written report is due no later than the first day of the January session.
