With a view to international cooperation, the UNamur-Pays du Sud program is set up in collaboration with teachers from UNamur partner universities in Asia, Africa and South America, including the Institut Supérieur de Pédagogie in Bukavu (Democratic Republic of Congo) and the Université d'Abomey-Calavi in Cotonou (Benin). This project is a springboard for the winning students: they reinforce their expertise in fields that are sometimes little taught in their home countries, they benefit from high value-added international experience, strengthen their CVs with a view to their professional careers, open up to another culture and experience a tremendous human adventure.

The program is piloted by UNamur's International Relations Service team, in collaboration with the Faculties and Departments hosting the scholarship students.

Since 2016, your donations and the support of our patrons have made it possible to fund 16 scholarships for students originating from Benin, the Democratic Republic of Congo, India and Mexico, who have been able to finalize a master's or specialist master's degree in fields as varied as mathematics, biomedical sciences, management sciences, biology, international and development economics.... Thanks to you, 100% of the costs are covered for the benefit of the students.
