Learning outcomes

This course intends to provide students with knowledge and understanding of the nervous system (anatomy and physiology).

Goals

This course aims to prepare students for further clinical activities, being a basis for internal medicine (neurology) of domestic animals.

Content

Central and peripheric nervous systems are described as well as the major nerves topography.

Physiology (function) is combined to the anatomical knowledge.

  2. Forebrain - Midbrain and hindbrain
  3. Cranial nerves
  4. Autonomous system
  5. Spnial nerves 
  6. Superficial aspects of the head
