To be familiar with the terms in the computers world; learn to use specific tools for lawyers (advanced text writing functionalities, data bases, particular net tools ...).
Discover the IA world.
By the end of the course unit, the student will be able to:
	1. The material
	What a computer? How is it made up?
	
	2. The operating system
	How the computer is managed? What can one make some?
	
	3. Standard software
	The following concepts are studied: the text processing, the spreadsheet, software of presentation, the navigator Web (including an introduction to language HTML), e-mail.
	
	4. Application software
	In addition to the standard software, there is the different one, style of the expert systems. In understanding the mechanism often allows to better use them.
	
	5. Networks
	The basic concepts on the networks necessary to comprehension of Internet are approached within the framework of the course.
	
	6. Theory of data bases and legal data bases
	In order to use the data bases as well as possible, it is also necessary to understand the working procedure of it. The course tries to answer this waiting.
Two 2-hour sessions are scheduled at appropriate times during the course.
	Teacher training with context experiments when needed is the basis. Some lessons are on computer.
	Written notes are available.
The evaluation consists of an individual oral or written exam, preceded by a one-hour preparation period. The exam presentation lasts approximately 15 minutes.
