The objective of this Enterprise Architecture course is to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, methodologies, and tools essential for orchestrating the harmonious alignment between business strategies and technological systems within organizations. Students will gain a holistic perspective on the layers comprising modern business information systems.
By delving into the role of the Enterprise Architect, students will grasp the responsibilities of guiding innovative technological transformations while adhering to industry standards and stakeholder needs. The course's hands-on approach ensures practical mastery of diverse Enterprise Architecture tools, with a focus on Archimate.
Lastly, students will act as true digital leaders in three ways: i) by analyzing scientific literature to develop of their architecture, ii) by collecting and analyzing digital news that may impact their architecture, iii) by frequently presenting updates about their architecture in a board discussion.
The evaluation will consist in an assignment concerning the modeling of a given enterprise architecture (50%) and its oral defense (50%)
