The Domaine d'Haugimont is a University of Namur project built in collaboration with many partners.
Through its estate in Haugimont, UNamur has a dual ambition:
- as owner and manager, to be a driving force in the preservation of ecosystems in the heart of the Condroz, which contributes to the maintenance and development of biodiversity and is part of fair local and circular production chains.
- as a university, to put this open-air laboratory at the service of scientific research and the training of students and the general public in the field of sustainable development and ecological transition.
These projects are being carried out by several players internally and in partnership with numerous institutional and private, regional and local supporters and partners. This dynamic is set to develop more than ever in the years to come.
