Learning outcomes

Learn different techniques for modeling an information system and be able to apply them appropriately to the modeling of information systems management.

Content

The central concept of this course is the model. The qualities expected of a model and the different uses are developed. The concepts related to static models are studied through class diagrams. The concepts related to dynamic models are studied through the "use-cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and statecharts.

Teaching methods

Afficher en écriture latine The teaching method is based on a feature talks by Professor and interactive work in which students practice the concepts taught. Types of exercises are presented and solved during the lectures. They prepare students for the exercises they have to be undertaken during practical work.
In addition students have to conduct a case study.

Case study (25%), written evaluation (75%)
