A major transformation plan for university IT has been decided by the Board of Directors. This plan is now being implemented, with the aim of providing all users with user-friendly, easy-to-access applications.

5 key actions for this objective

  • Visibility actions at the level of local, regional and international bodies, ensuring UNamur's presence at various events and forging privileged links with decision-makers from the public and entrepreneurial worlds.
  • Filing new applications for accreditation with the Academy of Research and Education (ARES) in the university's flagship fields as well as in more emerging areas.
  • Launch of an ambitious project to renovate and refurbish the Moretus Plantin University Library (BUMP) building to create a place of work, study, research and life for the entire university community.
  • Integration of the university in the "Uniservitate" Service Learning network to support a pedagogy combining academic quality, reflexivity and civic action.
  • Mobilization of the alumni network to support the university's development, notably via the creation of alumni associations abroad (GD Luxembourg, North America, etc.)
