Procedure:

1. Pay customs duties (label 705).

2. Go to the vehicle safety inspection for a technical inspection (UK: MOT).

3. Affix the insurer's sticker and signature to the registration application.

To present to the DIV office with the registration application:

  • The original registration certificate from the country of origin
  • It is advisable to have the certificate of conformity (in copy, with the application)
  • The purchase invoice (in copy, with the registration application)

More information

You have the option of sending the documents by post, bearing in mind that there will be a delay of around two weeks, or dropping them off directly at a DIV office counter.
