At the end of this course, the students must be able to read, understand, synthesize and criticize peer-reviewed scientific articles.
Analysis of several mechanisms responsible for the biogenesis of cellular organelles and for the intracellular transport of proteins, lipids, organelles and pathogens in normal and pathological conditions.
Invited orators : C. Blouin, C. Delevoye, A. Forrester and Ph. Chavrier (to be confirmed) from the Institut Curie in Paris, F. Baschieri from the Institut Gustave Roussy in Paris and P. Zimmermann from KULeuven. Most of them will talk by visioconference.

· Role of BAR domain proteins in membrane curving (H-F. Renard)
· Biogenesis of tubular recycling endosomes (C. Delevoye)
· Formation of flat and stable structures, coated with clathrin and implicated in the control of cellular mechanotransduction (F. Baschieri)
· Role of retromer in neurodegenerative diseases (I. Hamer)
· Intracellular transport of cholesterol (I. Hamer)
· Role of caveolae in the mechanosensing of muscular cells (C. Blouin)
· Selective autophagy of procollagene by ER-phagy (A. Forrester, en anglais)
· Biogenesis of exosomes and role in intercellular communications (P. Zimmermann, in face-to-face)
