Use of the skills and know-how acquired in previous lectures in the context of scientific research project.

Select the most important elements for a research presentation.

Goals

Illustrate scientific research by concrete examples.

Enable the students to accompany research teams during several days

Content

  • Presentation of research topics and visits to the five laboratories of the physics department for all students enrolled in the UE, during the first two weeks of Q2.
  • Thereafter, each student will spend time in 2 successive laboratories, working on a research topic.
  • Research topics will be proposed during the first two weeks (3 themes per laboratory). One subject will be chosen by the student (*) and the other will be chosen at random, in a different laboratory from the first subject.
  • For each subject selected, the student will spend 4 days in the host laboratory.
