Learning outcomes

Through a combination of theoretical and practical sessions, this course allows students to master the morphology and syntax of the simple sentence in order to reach a B1 level of receptive skills as well as an A2 level of productive skills of the Italian language in its spoken and written dimensions.

Goals

At the end of the course, the student should be able to - understand texts (written and oral) in everyday language - produce simple, coherent texts on familiar topics - in terms of oral production, communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a direct exchange of information on familiar topics and activities. - identify and explain grammatical phenomena, especially through short literary texts - identify and explain grammatical phenomena from a variety of written materials.

Content

Learning the Italian language. Phonetics, nominal and verbal morphology (all conjugations; noun and adjective classes; regular and irregular plurals; adjectives and pronouns) and some elements of syntax of the simple sentence in Italian; commonly used lexicon.
