Content

The course examines the legal rules that govern the security of networks and information systems. In this context, the course focuses on : data protection, cybersecurity, cybercriminality and thematic topic such as AI, child pornography, cyberterrorism or cyberwar.

Assessment method

First Session

The evaluation consists of two parts:

 

1) Group work during the quadrimester (25 % of the final grade)

Writing a 5-page paper on an IT security case study

 

2) Oral exam of 20 minutes (75 % of the final grade)

 

The oral evaluation will last 20 minutes. The student can consult the relevant legislation during the evaluation.

The oral evaluation consists of two parts :

 I. Discussion about the case resolved before in group

 II. Three questions :


  • 2 theoretical questions
  • 1 practical question

 

Second Session

Oral exam of 20 minutes (100 % of the final grade)

 

The oral evaluation will last 20 minutes. The student can consult the relevant legislation during the evaluation.

The oral evaluation consists of two parts :

 I. Discussion about the case resolved before in group

 II. Four questions :


  • 2 theoretical questions
  • 1 question of critical opinion
  • 1 practical question


! The mark obtained for group work in the first session is valid only for the first session and is not carried over to the second session !
