Why did you choose to study at UNamur?

I chose UNamur for its friendly atmosphere and human scale, which foster quality supervision. Living nearby also meant I could continue to live with my parents. What's more, I was immediately attracted to the way the bachelor's degree in political science works, thanks in particular to the "Learning by Doing" approach, which is specific to the EMCP Faculty.

Why did you choose this section of study?

I opted for political science because of the multidisciplinary nature of the program. My interest in politics, whether it's how elections work, parties or government formation, naturally steered me towards this stream. I also wanted a varied curriculum so as not to risk monotony, and that's exactly what this course offers, with its many fields and diversified courses. What's more, I love languages, and the idea of taking courses in English from the second year onwards was a major advantage in my eyes.

Are you involved in any activities at UNamur?

I've been a delegate for two years, and it's an experience I love! During contact commissions, we collaborate with the academic body to improve the way the Faculty operates, which is both rewarding and enriching.

At the same time, I'm also a member of a politicized circle, where I'm in charge of organizing events and contacting speakers. It's a great experience that allows me to develop my professional network. For example, I've had the opportunity to exchange e-mails with ministers and federal deputies, which is very motivating.

What do you appreciate most about your student life?

What I appreciate most is the warm and supportive atmosphere among the students. What's more, the professors and assistants are always available and ready to help us, which creates a very caring environment.

In your opinion, studying at UNamur is...

Feeling at home, learning in a serene atmosphere and meeting great people.
