Since I was very young, I've had a passion for nature, animals and the environment. Observing the different species in my native France, I loved analyzing their movements, behaviors and reactions. So it was only natural that the idea of becoming a veterinarian came to me, driven by my desire to help and alleviate the suffering of our pawed companions.

On the advice of an acquaintance, I became interested in UNamur. My research revealed a university renowned for its academic excellence and its personalized guidance of students towards success. This reputation, combined with the quality of the teaching, confirmed my choice.

The international renown of our professors in veterinary medicine testifies to the high standards and excellence of this training. The sheep research center, located near Namur, is also a major asset to our training. It enables us to put our theory into practice and discover the rural world. Working with sheep, with their very special character, is an enriching experience that I particularly appreciate.

Aside from my studies, I love student life in Namur. The town, which is on a human scale, offers an ideal setting for going out with friends and enjoying its unique charm. Student evenings are always convivial, even if the Belgian weather isn't always up to scratch!

In one sentence, studying at UNamur means success, conviviality and opportunity.
