The election campaign is officially underway at UNamur. On February 28, the General Assembly, the institution's sovereign power, validated and unveiled the sole candidate submitted for the rectoral post to be filled from the start of the next academic year. The candidate is Annick Castiaux, the current Rector.

Le Printemps des Sciences is the must-attend science and technology event in Wallonia and Brussels. It takes place every year in early spring and offers free activities accessible to all.

Faced with growing difficulties in mastering the French language when entering higher education, the University of Namur has decided to adopt a scheme to help students succeed: LEA (Lecture et Écriture Académiques). Initiated initially as part of a consortium involving UNamur, UCLouvain and four Hautes Écoles, the project aims to support students in acquiring the linguistic and communicative skills they need to follow their studies successfully.
