Learning outcomes

At the end of the course and practical work, the student will have acquired knowledge of the factors that promote and hinder the pharmacist-patient relationship, both in the dispensary and in the hospital. The importance of the pharmacist's listening role will be emphasized.

Students will also learn about verbal and non-verbal communication skills that can facilitate interaction with patients. The value of a structured approach to pharmaceutical consultation will be highlighted.

Finally, the student will have had the opportunity to exercise his or her interpersonal skills through role-playing.

Assessment method

Assessment consists of a written assignment based on the various activities carried out during the year's practical work.

Attendance at lectures, observation in the dispensary AND completion of the role-playing game are compulsory conditions for submitting the paper and passing the UE.

Adaptation of assessment methods

The exact terms of assessment may be modified when exam timetables are drawn up, depending on practical constraints that the faculty administration may have to deal with, or in the event of illness/force majeure/employment with an internship, or because of the health situation linked to the coronavirus.

If this is the case, the teacher will inform students of the assessment procedures via WebCampus.
