Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students will be able to write a CV and covering letter in B2 English in response to a job offer in their field.

Students will also be able to attend a job in their field in B2 level English.

Goals

As part of their internship, students will receive support in writing their CV and covering letter in English. They also receive individual coaching to help them prepare for a job interview in English.

Content

Through theory, examples and counter-examples, students learn the dos and don'ts of a good CV/cover letter. Emphasis is placed on the linguistic dimension (grammatical and lexical accuracy, appropriate register, standard formulas).

Assessment method

The written and oral parts of the course will be assessed entirely in English.

 

Oral assessment (50%): job interview with the lecturer.
