Biography

Bruno Dumas is a professor in the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Namur. He currently chairs the university's Namur Digital Institute (NADI). He obtained his PhD in computer science in 2010 at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. Since 2014, he has been leading the EXUI research group in Namur, where he and his team are deepening our knowledge in the fields of human-computer interaction, multimodal interfaces, augmented and mixed reality and explainable AI (XAI). The research carried out by Bruno Dumas and his team explores how the evolution of computer technologies impacts users in their everyday and professional lives.
