Nathalie Malengreau
About
Biography
With a doctorate in Science and a background in geology, I have built up 17 years of multidisciplinary experience in Materials Science, in both fundamental and applied research. I am therefore familiar with both the academic and industrial worlds.
I joined ADRE in 2008 as a materials science and environment developer, and trained in patent drafting and management, intellectual property and negotiating contracts with companies.
Since July 2012, I have been a funding manager, helping researchers to identify sources of funding, find partners, build and manage projects, and promote scientific potential and skills. I am responsible for projects funded by the Walloon Region (DGO6, competitiveness clusters, etc.), programmes co-funded by the Walloon Region/Europe (ERDF, INTERREG, Eranets, BEWARE, etc.) and projects funded by companies. I am therefore very familiar with Wallonia's research players and economic fabric.
Since 2021, I have been in charge of coordinating R&D funding sources at the Research Administration, developing research management tools and acting as R&D contact for UNamur's International Relations Department.
I am also a Scientific Adviser on the Environment, a member of the ILEE Institute, and referent for the Lasers, Optics & Spectroscopies (L.O.S.) platform.
